We are excited to resume our annual tradition (in person!) of hosting a holiday party for the children who attend CAPE Headstart Preschool in Livermore. The children and their families are invited to the Veterans Hall, 522 South L Street, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm, on Sunday, December 4. Rotarians are invited to show up at 11:30 to set up and/or to stay after the party for clean up. Please contact George Wineinger with any questions. We will also tour several campus buildings include the Veterans First Building and the new Horticulture Building. Members must RSVP to reserve a spot. We will each pay $20 to cover the cost of breakfast. |

We are all invited to join in the fun of the 67th Annual Crab Feed, presented by our fellow Rotarians, the Rotary Club of Livermore. The event will take place at the Robert Livermore Community Center, and will include all the crab you can eat, dancing to classic country rock live music by Stagecoach, and fun socializing with our friends. Roy Porfido, our Club Service Director, has reserved tables for us, so please let Roy know by Friday, January 20 if you are able to join the fun. The cost for a seat at a table of 8 is $85.

Shred the Past . . . Look to the Future! The Rotary Club of Livermore Valley invites community members to bring unwanted documents to a free shredding event. This is great timing for safely and privately destroying financial and legal papers that are no longer needed. Event will be held Sunday, April 23, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Tri-Valley Car Care lot at 1737 First St, across from Zephyr Grill. Rotarians are encouraged to volunteer to help at the event. Community members will watch as their containers are unloaded and contents shredded. Containers will be returned. We are inviting community members to donate for this service, so that we can continue to support our community grants and service projects. |
