Chili Cook Off Benefits
Chili Cook Off Benefits Our Community
The Annual Chili Cook Off is the primary fundraiser for the community grants and service projects funded by the Rotary Club of Livermore Valley.
- In 2023, our club donated over $15,000 in grants to local schools and nonprofits to further their work that supports our Rotary mission.
- We delivered turkeys and Thanksgiving dinner grocery gift cards to deserving families in Livermore.
- We shared hospitality and gifts with residents of the Veterans Hospital in Livermore.
- We donated $25,000 to Axis Community Health, in partnership with Alameda County Supervisor David Haubert.
- We donated $10,000 to the Pedrozzi Scholarship Foundation, to launch a perpetual scholarship for graduates of Livermore high schools, honoring longtime educator and Rotarian, Kevin Drake.
- We supported the work of Ambassadors of Compassion in Livermore schools, to build leadership skills and resilience in our students.
- We continued to support Goodness Village.
- We shared in the work of the Rotarian Foundation of Livermore (RFL), providing hardcover literature books to 3rd graders in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.
- We joined with RFL to provide holiday food and gifts to the children and families of CAPE Head Start Preschool in Livermore.
We are eager to do even more for our community in 2024 and 2025.
Thank you for your support!
