Thank you for your interest in providing your unique chili in the 2024 Rotary Club of Livermore Valley Annual Chili Cook Off fundraiser at Carnegie Park on October 5, 2024. 
 
We expect hundreds of visitors to the Chili Cook Off. Admission is free to the park. Chili tasters will purchase tickets to receive a commemorative mug and spoon that they will take to chili booths to sample the great chili offered.
 
Chili will be judged by the event attendees. Awards will be presented at the end of the event to the first, second, and third place winners.
 
Additional booths including merchant, arts, crafts, nonprofits, beer, wine, and food vendors will be at the event. Bands will play live music throughout the day.
 
Chili Cook Details:
  • Booths will be allocated a space in the park to accommodate a 10’ x 10’ canopy/tent.
  • Setup of Booth from 9:00 am - 10:30 am
  • Booths must be staffed and open from 11- 3:30
  • The chili cook’s name/restaurant/organization (and logo and website url if provided) will be featured on Rotary Club of Livermore Valley website and social media and will be included in the event directory.
  • There is no charge to participate in the event as a chili cook.
 
The Rotary Club of Livermore Valley will provide:
  • Mug and spoon for tasters (Participants will bring these to you to be served)
  • Paper liners for mugs so that your chili has a clean tasting surface
  • Hand sanitizer at your booth
  • Signage indicating your Chili Contest Number, for judging purposes
  • Hand washing buckets, per Alameda County Health Code
Chili cooks will need to provide:
  • Canopy/tent
  • Table(s) and chair(s) 
  • 6 gallons of chili, prepared in a commercial kitchen
  • Heating element to keep your chili hot
    • You will need to provide your own power - generator or chafing dishes
  • Signage indicating your name/organization
