The Rotary Club of Livermore Valley joined with the Livermore Valley Education Foundation (LVEF),  the Rotary Club of Livermore, and the Rotarian Foundation of Livermore to donate funds to provide Chromebooks to students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) during distance learning, necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Rotary Club of Livermore Valley joined with the Livermore Valley Education Foundation (LVEF),  the Rotary Club of Livermore, and the Rotarian Foundation of Livermore to donate funds to provide Chromebooks to students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) during distance learning, necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. 
 
Thanks to the generosity of many individuals, businesses, and organizations, Rotarian Foundation President Ted Michels was able to present a check for $61,637 to LVJUSD Superintendent Kelly Bowers in February 2021. The overall effort, spearheaded by LVEF, donated over $200,000 to support District students.
