Applications for Fall Grants are due Friday, October 25.

We encourage non-profit community organizations and educators whose work aligns with our mission as Rotarians to apply for a grant of up to $1,000. We are grateful to be able to extend our reach into the community by partnering with our grant recipients.

Each fall and spring, the Rotary Club of Livermore Valley invites local organizations and schools to seek grant funding that will support efforts that align with our mission as Rotarians. Our grant awards are typically in the $300 - $1,000 range and fund items and projects that will make a positive difference in the lives of children and/or adults in our community.

We consider the following criteria when we evaluate applications:
  • The grant request is for one or more tangible item(s).
  • The grant will fund or support a self-sustaining project that is not reliant upon ongoing funding from our club.
  • The specific project was not already funded by our club in the previous fiscal year.
  • The grant will support a local Livermore humanitarian need or service project that is part of an organization.
  • The organization requesting the grant provides equal opportunity without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, sex, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
We do make grants to educators, with the understanding that the funding supports projects in local classrooms and schools. Grants are made to organizations, not individuals, with rare exceptions.

Applications are due Friday, October 25, 2023. Please submit via email to livermorevalleyrotaryclub@gmail.com and to Sarah Palmer, Grant Coordinator, palmer.sarahl@gmail.com.
