Opening the Meeting
President Sherri Simoni called the meeting to order at 8:16.
Charles Crohare led us in the Pledge of Allegiance.
No one knows this but Sherri shared she once had a pet black widow named Amy.

Lot's of dancing to this one!
Thought of the Day - Roy, about dogs: Dogs don't go to heaven, but when I die, I want to go there, too.
Kevin McCallam shared the Joke of the Day -Want to hear a good construction joke? Yes? Sorry it's under construction.

Today we spun the electronic wheel to choose the "winner" of Board #64 - George Wineinger will be able to designate where the $1,000 goes. Tune in next week to find out!

Lori Souza gave Sherri a chili cup from her trip to Canada.

We have opened the signup form for Chili Cook Off volunteers! We ask that everyone in the club participates and signs up for at least 2 shifts. Friends and family are welcome to help out!

If anyone would like to participate in this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's, it's scheduled for Saturday October 28, withRegistration at 8 AM, Ceremony at 9:30 AM, & Walk starting at 10 AM.

Our Club's Team Name is Rotary Club of Livermore Valley. Our team fundraising goal is $2000, and we've already raised $1,120!!

After the meeting we went to the Mertes Center of the Arts for an amazing tour and performance.
Leah Anonuevo (Vocal Music Student) sang to us while accompanied by the amazing new Steinway piano that can play itself! After, we had a terrific demonstration of the piano's capabilities.
