Special Chili Cook Off Edition

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Hello Friends, Neighbors, and Fellow Rotarians,

Congratulations and thank you to all who helped make our 3rd Annual Chili Cook Off a great success!! We raise nearly $20,000 to donate to this community through our grant program.

We had 10 amazing chili cooks, lots of creative merchants, music from 3 great bands, local wine and beer, amazing food vendors and lots for the kiddos to do, including a cool interactive drum circle. We were also honored to host some of the community groups that we have supported over the years.

This event is not possible without teamwork and support. Thank you to all who helped plan this event! Thank you to our sponsors and raffle prize donors. Thank you to our cooks and merchants. The day-of is “all-hands-on deck” and our volunteers didn’t disappoint. Thank you!!

Besides being our biggest fundraiser, this event is family friendly and fun for all. Everyone I spoke to was having a great time and loving the chili tasting. For those who were unfamiliar with Rotary, they now know that our mission is to raise money and give it to those in need in our community.

I hope you will mark your calendars for October 5, 2024 - the first Saturday in October - and get involved in our 4th Annual Chili Cook Off at Carnegie Park. It promises to be bigger, better and raise more money for those who need it most.

I am very proud to be a Rotarian and part of this club. I am honored to serve as President this year but, I most proud of the difference we make. If you aren’t part of the Rotary Club of Livermore Valley, I invite you to check us out. Besides our weekly meetings, we have social gatherings, community events and FUNdraisers. Oh, the friends you will make!

With gratitude,

Sherri Simoni
President

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS!

Our club's work to improve lives in our community and globally is accomplished with the help and support of businesses, organizations, and individuals. Thanks to our sponsors and donors for partnering with us to serve. Our sponsors contributed significantly to the overall success of the 3rd Annual Chili Cook Off.

THANK YOU VENDORS & EXHIBITORS!

We are grateful to the many merchants, artisans, and nonprofit organizations who set up booths to provide an abundance of browsing and shopping opportunities. We all enjoyed the music throughout the day. Some who attended said the event was really a fall festival, celebrating good cooks, good music, and lots of community talent.

We are grateful to all who set up booths and shared their products with our community! The feedback that this event was so much more than a Chili Cook Off has inspired us to expand next year to the 4th Annual Chili Cook Off and Fall Fair!
THANK YOU RAFFLE PRIZE DONORS!
