Oktoberfest Fundraiser at Shadow Puppet Supports Cancer Research
Charles invites us to Shadow Puppet Brewing Company next Sunday, October 8 from 1:00 - 5:00 for Oktoberfest fun that raises money for the OES Cancer fund. (We supported OES when we purchased our pies.) Tickets are limited and cost $45. Price includes beer, sausage, German potato salad, pickled red onions, kraut and fixings. Club Social on Tuesday, October 10
Sherri invites us and our guests to an evening social (in lieu of our regular morning meeting) on Tuesday, October 10 starting at 5:30 pm. Please bring a beverage to share and $5 to contribute to the cost of dinner.

Today's Program: Brandon Cardwell, City of Livermore
Brandon is the Director of Innovation and Economic Development for the City of Livermore. He reviewed the Downtown plans and status of the many projects in the Downtown area: Eden Housing, Quest Science Center, Legacy Apartments, L Street Parking Garage, SPArC Theater Lab, Livermore Plaza (now open), Blacksmith Square, Downtown Boutique Hotel and I Street Parking Garage (now open). He also mentioned there will be 4100 family units build at North L and 580.
