June 11, 2024
OPENING THE MEETING
President Sherri Simoni called the meeting to order at 8:20 AM
Charles led us in the Pledge of Allegiance
Charles shared a story from his family history which dates back to the 1800's. Let's just say he may have a cousin or two that aren't listed in the family tree.
Song of the Day - American Pie: We all enjoyed a sing-a-long. Thanks Graham!
Thought of the Day - Bennie: We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give.
Joke of the Day - Deb shared a long joke about women swimming naked in a lake. They had a great time until a local came with a bag of food for the crocodiles.

Sarah Palmer led us in celebrating the 10 recipients of our Spring Mini-Grants. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and the funds raised at our Annual Chili Cook Off, we were able to donate over $9,000 to support our community. Thanks also to the Livermore Valley Education Foundation (LVEF) for continuing to help us fund grants for our schools.
