Suzanne announced the commencement of the COIN WARS!
Dennis Gambs was asked to lead a committee to create a Kevin Drake Academic Scholarship. Dave Bedford, Gib Souza and Philomena Rambo are on the committee.
Jill Duerig gave an overview and update on HANWASH. It is a long term National Collaboration program to bring potable wanter, sanitation and hygiene to Haiti residents. They provide not only wells but the infrastructure to maintain working wells throughout the country. Unfortunately due to the lack of stability, many of the working wells are broken into and do not function. There is a 20 year plan to bring potable water to the country of Haiti. Rotary will not quit!
