TODAY'S PROGRAM: INTERACT!
We were delighted to welcome the Granada High School Interact Club Board of Directors, along with their mentor Brook Witherspoon, and some special guests from Area 3 and Foothill High School. It's safe to say that each of us was very impressed with the students for their leadership, community focus, and continual emphasis on bonding and connection in their plans for the upcoming year. We were also impressed that they woke up early to come to our meeting on their last day of summer vacation!
Pictured above: Mony and Brook with GHS Interactors, Ethan, Silvio, Avery, Bijoux, Sydney; Area 3 leaders Avery and Faizaan; and Foothill Interact Treasurer, Ryan.
The students shared their calendar for the school year:
This year's Interactors have plans to improve on previous events, including Coin Wars, which launches in March.
Silvio, Avery, and Ryan shared their experiences at RYLA this year. They all found friends and developed self-confidence and leadership during the week.
Finally, The RYLA Campers all thanked us for our generosity in sponsoring their time at camp.
