TODAY'S PROGRAM: Isabel Crossing Project
Livermore City Councilmember, Evan Branning, presented to the club information about the Isabel Crossing Project, a development happening on the north side of 580 at Isabel. The development has been approved by the City Council, and has started with grading happening in the area currently.
Once complete, there will be about 2,330 housing units, of which 27% will be classified as "affordable housing".
The project will include a courtyard, with mixed use, including retail. Focusing on walkability, there will be open space as well.
Councilmember Branning also reminded us that feedback is currently being sought for the City of Livermore's General Plan 2045, and that we can participate by going to the City's website, http://livermoreca.gov to give feedback.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Check out the "Upcoming Events" listed below for complete details and sign-up information for upcoming club happenings!
Jill Duerig is proposing Robert Freeman as a new member of our club, in the Classification of International Social Entrepreneur.
All paperwork has been submitted, and through an email meeting, our club’s board voted unanimously to approve the proposal. Per our Bylaws, this information was published last week in The Grapevine, and is being published again this week. If any club member has a question about the proposal, please contact Membership Chair Bennie Le Bourvellec. If no objections are received by April 15, we will move forward with installing Robert as our newest member!
Please let Lisa Shah know if you are able to serve as a sponsor for one of our Spring Club Grant Applicants.
Your connection with the applicant prior to their submitting their application helps ensure that they complete a strong application. Your connection also establishes a personal touch from our club to the community.
We encourage non-profit community organizations and educators whose work aligns with our mission as Rotarians to apply for a grant of up to $1,000. We are grateful to be able to extend our reach into the community by partnering with our grant recipients.
