30 May 2023 Club Meeting May 30, 2023 Our club meets weekly, gathering at 8:00 am and ringing the bell to start the meeting at 8:15 am. We are currently meeting both in person and via Zoom. We meet in person at Las Positas College, 3000 Campus Hill Drive, Livermore. We are meeting in the Faculty Dining Room on the first floor of Building 1600. Parking in Lot C is included for Rotarians who have registered their vehicle information with the club; otherwise, parking permits can be purchased on site. 06 Jun 2023 Livermore Rodeo: Celebrating 105 Years! Kathleen Minser Jun 06, 2023 Put on your cowboy boots, grab your hats, and let's head to the Rodeo grounds for our annual Rodeo Week tradition of meeting at the Rodeo grounds! The Cattlewomen's Association will make us breakfast, and Kathleen Minser, fellow Rotarian and President of the Rodeo Foundation, will share with us the history and upcoming fun of the 105th Annual Livermore Rodeo. We meet in the building near the arena at the Rodeo grounds, 3000 Robertson Park Road, Livermore. Members are asked to contribute $20 to offset the cost of breakfast. 06 Jun 2023 Club Meeting at Livermore Rodeo Grounds Jun 06, 2023 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM Our annual Rodeo Week tradition continues when our regular meeting will be held at the Rodeo Grounds on Tuesday, June 6th. We meet in the barn at the top of the hill. Pull on those boots and grab that cowboy hat, and head on over for a good time! We will enjoy breakfast prepared by the Cattlewomen's Association and learn about the Rodeo Foundation and the upcoming 105th Annual Livermore Rodeo. Our speaker is Rotarian and Club Past President, Kathleen Minser. (Note: this meeting will not be available via zoom.)
08 Jun 2023 Club Social: Pickleball & Potluck Jun 08, 2023 5:00 PM We are invitied to play pickleball with the Tri-Valley Pickleball Club! They are hosting a special "Introduction to Pickleball" social for us on Thursday, June 8 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at May Nissen Park. After having fun on the pickleball courts, we will enjoy pizza (provided by the Tri-Valley Pickleball Club) and potluck salads and desserts. We are encouraged to wear court shoes, and bring a water bottle and a chair. Sign up online using this form by Tuesday, June 6: Rotary Club Special Event Registration for Introduction to Pickleball Rotarians are invited to bring a guest.
10 Jun 2023 Livermore Rodeo Parade Jun 10, 2023 10:00 AM Club members and the entire community are invited to the Annual Rodeo Parade in Downtown Livermore! Our Club President Kevin McCallum will represent us in the parade. We are invited to volunteer as parade marshalls. Volunteers are invited to have breakfast at the Riata from 7:10 - 8:00 am. We will then get set up to help. Parade marshalls can bring a folding chair to watch the parade. The job is to keep people on the sidewalk and to pass out toys/lollipops to the kids. Wear your Rotary attire! The parade starts at 10:00 and usually lasts until around 11:30. Please send an email to livermoreparade@yahoo.com to volunteer by Monday 6/5. Include your name and phone number.

13 Jun 2023 Axis Community Health - New Livermore Clinic Liz Perez-Howe Jun 13, 2023 We are proud to welcome Liz Perez-Howe, Executive Director of Axis Community Health, who will accept our donation of $26,300 to support the new clinic coming to Livermore! We will learn about the clinic and see how our donation will help impact our community. We are able to make this generous donation thanks to a grant from Alameda County Supervisor David Haubert. 27 Jun 2023 Demotion Dinner for Kevin McCallum Jun 27, 2023 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM Club members and their guests are invited to celebrate this fabulous Rotary year and say "thank you" to our outgoing president, Kevin "The Silver Knight" McCallum! We will gather in Sarah Palmer's backyard garden starting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, June 17. Dinner and festivities start at 6:30.
