All community members are invited to meet Kevin Adler, Rotarian, Founder and CEO of Miracle Messages, and author of When We Walk By: Forgotten Humanity, Broken Systems, and the Role We Can Each Play in Ending Homelessness in America. In partnership with Goodness Village, CrossWinds Church is opening their doors on Monday, December 4 to celebrate the release of the book. Join the event for an inspiring evening that includes captivating stories, engaging conversations, and book signings. In conversation with Kim Curtis, Executive Director of Goodness Village, Kevin will share stories and insight into the human crisis of homelessness.
Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served.

We are honored to welcome Kevin Adler, Founder and CEO of Miracle Messages, to provide us with important insight into the crisis of homelessness. Kevin will discuss his latest book, When We Walk By: Forgotten Humanity, Broken Systems, and the Role We can Each Play in Ending Homelessness in America. Since 2014, Kevin has led Miracle Messages, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness rebuild their social support systems and financial security, primarily through family reunifications, a phone buddy program, and basic income pilots. Kevin’s work has been featured widely, including in the New York Times, Washington Post, PBS NewsHour, and in his TED Talk. Kevin will bring copies of his book that we can purchase and have him sign.
