DESCRIPTION:Volunteer with Rotary: Be Part of Night to Shine Tri-Valley
\n\nRotary members are invited to take part in an unforgettable evening
of service\, joy\, and connection at Night to Shine Tri-Valley&mdash\;a o
 ne-of-a-kind celebration centered on love\, inclusion\, and community.\n\n
Night to Shine is a magical prom-style event designed especially for indiv
iduals ages 14 and older with special needs. Guests enjoy a full evening o
 f dancing\, delicious food\, karaoke\, crafts\, and relaxed spaces for qui
eter moments. Every guest is honored\, celebrated\, and paired with a cari
ng volunteer buddy who helps make the night truly special.\n\nThis is a po
werful opportunity for Rotarians to live the values of service above self\
, create meaningful one-on-one connections\, and be part of an event that
leaves a lasting impact on both volunteers and guests alike.\n\n\nVoluntee
 r as a Buddy (Most Popular Role)\n\nAs a buddy\, you&rsquo\;ll spend the e
vening alongside one guest\, experiencing the event together&mdash\;whethe
r that means dancing all night\, singing karaoke\, enjoying dinner\, or re
laxing in a quiet room. Guests range in age from 14 to 80\, and we thought
fully match buddies with age-appropriate guests based on comfort level and
guest needs.\n\nBecause guests have varying levels of ability and support
needs\, all buddies will participate in a mandatory training to ensure th
e evening is safe\, welcoming\, and joyful for everyone.\n\nOther Ways to
Serve\n\nNot able to be a buddy? There are several other ways to help:\n\n
